RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER UPDATE:
A lot of folks need shit cleared up about what RsG is up to,
so here you go. Eli is no longer in the band, Shawn and Matt are doing vocals, and we're not playing shows for a couple months to write new material. Simple enough. But what to expect when we come back... Who knows?
Perhaps a song about a giant squid who lives in the sewers of a major city and rules the underground? Maybe a feel good rocker about a short but meaningful friendship with... a GHOUL?? Maybe we'll even see a giant inflatable skull on stage during "Nothing defeats the Skull."
One thing remains for sure though... are we still going to thrash? Yes. Are we fucking around? Of course not!

Hello all GRINDER HEADS! Long time no talk, AGAIN.
Things have been going very well, sneaking our way onto shows throughout
the philly area. Our tech thrash assault has decimated every venue
we touch, so thanks for all you crazy assholes for comming out and
supporting!
We will be finnishing the final mix of our debute full lenght album
next weekend (3/12/05) with Ron Vento
at Nightsky
Studios in MD. All the tracks are laid down, the vocals are
ready, and we are preparing for the comming heist! The tentative
title for the CD will be 7:00: FRIDAY NIGHT
ZOMBIE THROW DOWN AT RUMPELSTILTSKIN CORN FEILD. Reading
the long ass title gives us enough time to pick your pocket. . .
Now that the tracks are done for the CD, we will be focusing on
playing as many shows and fests as possible. Hit up one of our silent
assassins for booking this criminal tech thrash assault! Hold on
to your wallets!

Fuck, there has been a lot going on since the last
update!
Firstly, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder has
parted ways with their maniacal, tattoo-eyed vocalist, Jason
Sidote. The band and Jason are still bros of both the beer
and the bong, and best of luck to him with the grand/grotesque XXXMANIAK!!!
Thanks to everyone who came out to his last show to scream their
support!!! Replacing him on vocals is the sly and sultry Eli Shaika,
crazy bass totin' frontman from the mighty WITCHAVEN.
This renovated line up of the Orange and Black attack are playing
shows and rockin' out harder than ever, so check out the "shows"
page for dates and times!!! Rumpelstiltskin Grinder will FINALLY
be heading into Nightsky
Studios to finish the vocals and mixing of their debut full
length. Everyone who has been waiting for this: IT IS WELL FUCKING
WORTH IT. Pure criminal thrash like only the 'stiltskin Grinder
crew can serve up! We will be heading into the studio in early March
( i know, i know, what the fuck!) to finish up the vocals and mixing.
'Till then, get your fix at our next show!.
9/9/04
Anyone been wondering where we've been??? We're currently
in the studio finishing up our first full length cd at Nightsky
Studios in Waldorf, Maryland. Can't wait to melt your face off
with it.
In the meantime we have some more shows posted. Be there or be square,
Grinderheads.

Next
Thursday (2/19) we have a great show lined up courtesy of Barkdog
Productions at the Pirate's Den in NJ (*note the bartender). It
is 21+ and only $5..we are performing with UMIN (insane AxCx style
grind), Backwoods Payback (Heavy Clutch style rock/metal) and Burnowt
(Candiria hardcore/metal hybrid). Show starts @ 8 and check
the RGR website for more info/directions...oh yeah and the sound
there is really awesome and they have Yuengling pitchers of beer
for $4.
Then...next Saturday (2/21) we have another awesome show courtesy
of Rich and Olympic Records. As some of you may know, this will
be the last month for shows at Olympic Records due to some unfortunate
circumstances and since it is an ALL AGES show you better
get your ass up to Boyertown......Ohhhh so you little crybabies
don't know where Boyertown is and are afraid to drive somewhere
"unknown"? Well,...it is right between Allentown
(Elton John anyone?) and Reading. It is about 1hr of turnpike driving
from philly and this show is also only $5!!! We are playing
with some very nice gentlemen like HEROD (awesome metalcore on Lifeforce
Records), COTGS (reading area metalcore that will destroy you),
Last Day Dying (West Chester metalcore) & And Remember
(boyertown metalcore). The show starts around 6PM so it will end
early and you can still have plenty of time to party-hard party-hard!

6. merman vs. triklops

that will be featured on the album.
Upcoming show at THE BALCONY(next to the Trocadero Theater) in Philadelphia,
Thursday 12/11/03 with Umin, Pale Existence and Burnowt. I believe
we are playing last at this show and we should be drinking many
many beers so come out!
9/22/03
***IMPORTANT NOTICE***
Yesterday at The Speakeasy show in Upper Darby, someone
either stole or "accidentally" took Pats cymbal case with
all his cymbals (roughly over $1,000+ worth). We found out right
before we were ready to go on stage, and of course this happens
right before our biggest shows yet at the Trocadero Balcony and
CBGB's in NYC...great huh? Below are a list of bands that played
the show, the most likely scenario is that one of these bands took
our cymbal case without realizing it, if anyone reading this has
any info...Please let us know.
Equinox (foremerly Servants Of Hate)
Life Sentence
Common Enemy
Ellipsis
Pseudo Dropouts
The Mammoth
08/11/03

KILLCRANE from Lawrence, KS. For those who have not heard JUMBO'S
KILLCRANE...nothing but pure HEAVY sludge rock with a little progressive
elements thrown in for good measure! This little slab of wax will
be put out by Red Candle Records and will also be their first release,
limited to 500 copies hand numbered! There is no title for this
split yet, but Rumpelstiltskin Grinder will be contributing a new
song entitled "Equipment Cruncher" and JKC will be doing
a new song as well for this release only. Expect a September 2003
release and stay tuned for more!
